Set up MCP

Open beta. The steps may still change.

Requirements

  • Subscription to at least one of the products POS, Gastro Onlineshop or Reservations
  • Access to the business portal
  • An AI assistant with MCP support (e.g. Claude)

1. Enable MCP in the business portal

Log in to the business portal and enable the MCP connection for your business there.

2. Connect your assistant

Add OrderHi as a connector or MCP server in your AI assistant and sign in with your OrderHi account. A connection always belongs to exactly one business; accessing the data of other businesses is not possible.

3. Try it out

Ask the assistant a question about your data, for example "Show me yesterday's POS sales."

Security note

Never share your business portal password with the assistant. We will never ask you for it.
